Insert blatant Waldron Bros. plug here.

"Damn we have been working hard lately. You guys have pirated our DVD's so much that we now have to make two per year just to get by. You're really lucky we love what we do.

"Since releasing Denis and Leroy every little comedian has been asking us "can you name the next film after me?" This year when we were banging our head against the desk hoping for a decent DVD name to come out... BOOM!!! Chad yelled "we should call it "Insert Name Here ___" and release it with a texta so everyone can name it whatever the hell they want; Mike, Sarah, Charlie, Vague Heights; you get the idea."

"And so after four weeks locked away editing we are almost finished Insert Name Here ___. Showcasing shredders such as World Champ Jeff Hubbard, Queenslander's Corey McLean and Joe Clarke. Other sections include all the usual pros and the not so usual young rippers, filmed in Queensland, Hawaii, the South Coast, Victoria, Western Australia, Bali, and Chile."

Riptide Magazine #159 is due out next week. This is what's gonna be on offer this time around.

"Welcome to the new-and-improved Riptide 159 kids! Here's to new beginnings and fresh content. Of course, there's all the usual departments you're come to expect from RT plus plenty, plenty more. Oh, just one more thing while we're on the topic of "new beginnings and fresh content"; how insane is Max Arent's first cover!

"Fed up with Gold Coast crowds and the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise, Ryan Hardy, Liam O'Toole and young-gun Tommy Smith cleared the ditch between Oz and NZ earlier this year. They returned with tales of isolated kegs, brain-freezing temperatures and scenery straight our of The Lord of the Rings.

"John Showell is arguably the best 21-year-old in the country right now; so why don't we hear more of the young chap? Nick Lawrence [Riptide's Ed] ventured to John's hometown of Cronulla or "The Shire" to find out more.

"Although it almost seems like a lifetime since the 2007 Human Shark Island Challenge, RT takes you behind the scenes and profiles the experiences of the tight-knit [riders, judges and organisers] who are the lifeblood of the coverted Island event."
