Launch Bodyboarding DVD Magazine is the latest project from the mind of Ian Stewart and Oceanic Images. Launch Volume 1 will be launching in October, check out the premiere details below.

Date: Saturday 28th, October - Doors open at 7pm
Location: The Entrance Cinemas - Cental Coast, NSW

Tickets are available now at Bodyboarders Surf Co. [Sydney], Solid Bodyboarding [Newcastle], and The Entrance Cinemas [Central Coast].

Get in quick as seats are limited. There will be heaps of giveaways, guest appearances and autograph signings on the night.

We know it sounds strange but its true. After six months of solid travel around Australia, Novy has actually been hanging at home on Queenslands Sunshine Coast of late. But not for long! He has another trip planned and booked, although this time its a worldwide jaunt. Phillipines, Europe, Canary Islands, New York and LA then to Hawaii for the 06/07 season - and possibly Fiji on the way home - are all on the cards this time around.

While at home, Novy has been giving the new LMNOP Michael Novy Signature Model a test drive [top]. The board [above] looks slick and according to the man himself, rides just as good as it looks. The boards are available now at all respectable Bodyboard outlets and UNITE. Dealers across Australia.

Hez just just got back home from his stint overseas and reckons "New Jersey was good, pretty good waves as well which I wasnt expecting. I got to the Semi Finals in the comp. I went to New York for a night then to LA and met up with Liam [O'Brien], Sam Gray and Crashy. We hit Vegas, Hollywood, The OC and all that."

Hez now plans to do the Canary Islands World Tour event towards the end of the year then Hawaii and "anything else that comes up in between."

There is no denying it, myspace is huge right now. We are not usually one for following trends but its fair to say almost every kid, band, and company is on there getting creepy.So we finally gave into temptation, jumped on the bandwagon and hooked up myspace. UNITE. Am Rider Mitch Woodland has been hard at work on the school program. "I just finished my last Trials exam today. So stoked the Trials are over, now all i gotta wait for is the real deal."

Look out Schoolies!

Hez Update. "I'm in New Jersey/New York now. Mexico was pretty good nothing epic but really consistent. The banks were average though, had a sick time and got a few good waves." This weekend just passed, while in New Jersey, Hez competed in the 2006 Rock Star Games Jenkinson’s Pro. He only just missed making the final with a Semi Final finish.
