Movement Magazine Issue 8 on stands now

21/09/05
Novy Update. "I'm in WA at the moment, came over to surf [undisclosed] with Tim Young. Ben Horrocks and Tim Fowler came out too. Heavy friggin' wave, like 8 -10 foot. I got smashed, came up coughing blood and stuff [laughs]. Couldn't surf the rest of the day, I was pretty cut. Box and North Point might be good towards the end of the week. Hopefully my shoulder's good by then".

Other News Sfuff. After hitting the shelves only one week ago Parkway Drive have hit the big time debuting on the ARIA Top 50 album chart at #39 for the new album "Killing With A Smile". Good times.

20/09/05
We are proud to introduce our
05/06 Pro Team. Drum roll please. New photos, profiles, interviews and stuff coming soon to the team page.

HARRY DIXON. 21. Avalon, NSW Australia.
If you looked up "Globe Trotter" in the dictionary it is likely you would find a photo of Hez. He is lucky enough to be in possession of both an Australian and UK passport and is regularly seen frequenting England to partake in crazy lab experiments for extra coin. Harry is currently out of the water for a while due to a freak cliff jumping accident. Bound to be back in 2006 more psyched than ever. Just you wait and see.

NICK ORMEROD. 21. Kingscliff, NSW Australia
Nick has been on fire of late. After his final placing in this year's Shark Island Challenge - in which part of his prize money went towards a new boat - he has been scoring waves all over the place. Looking forward to a jaunt to the Philippines in the near future before his annual pilgrimage to Hawaii at the end of the year. Just like his new boat, he ain't slowing down for no one.

MICHAEL NOVY. 20. Sunshine Coast, QLD Australia
It's not hard to see why there are people out there calling Novy "The Next Big Thing". The kid not only surfs better than you but he also has a level head on his shoulders, a quality that is essential if you are to fit into "The Next Big Thing" category. His maiden journey to Hawaii this season may just prove his skills in the broader scheme of things. One thing is for sure; Novy is only just warming up.

WINSTON McCALL. 23. Byron Bay, NSW Australia
Winston is the front man for Parkway Drive, a band some are calling the best thing to ever happen to Metal in Australia. Get your hands on a copy of "Killing With A Smile" to see why. Just arriving home from a well-deserved surf trip to the NSW South Coast, Winston is more amped on riding waves than ever. Catch him with Parkway Drive throughout the next few months on their National Tour in support of the new album. You may even be lucky enough to see him at your local break in between shows.

06/09/05 HARRY DIXON UPDATE

"I'm finally back home - well, in hospital - in Sydney. It was a good trip back. They had a nurse fly over to take me home business class which was good. Looks like I'm going in for hopefully my last surgery tomorrow then my doctor reckons two months till I will be trying to walk on my feet. I'm feeling heaps better now and just amped to get on the road to recovery." - Harry Dixon
