Team Rider Nick Ormerod join the likes of Dave Winchester, Chris James and Harry Dixon onboard a family whose life spans almost a decade. "Nick Ormerod has been one of bodyboarding’s golden boys for a long time now. Probably about the same length of time since he last had a haircut. While we're on the topic of sponsorshit, we probably should mention Michael Novy recently signed with new kid on the block, Agent18 Wetsuits. Last minute filming for There's No I finished up in the Philippines this week. "I reckon after this trip the movie will be pretty damn good", Novy claims. "Before we might have been a little bit short but we got a good 15 mintues of footage over there. I surfed for 10 hours one day", he laughed. Once the pin was pulled on filming for the project, he quickly jumped on a plane bound for China to visit family. While on Cloud Nine in the Philippines, Novy and co. labelled Mitch
Woodland "The Reef Chief". "He kept hitting it and getting cut up", joked Novy. To coincide with the release of Horizons, the band hit the road for what was their first Australian Tour this year, resulting in all shows on the tour selling out. The Horizons Tour wraps up this weekend. Following the Tour, Winston will head back home to the Far North Coast, NSW before the band returns to Europe as part of the "Never Say Die" Tour along with Comeback Kid, Cancer Bats, The Warriors and This Is Hell in November. The crew have been in paradise since the beginning of October and have a week left of their stay. By all reports they have already scored what they set out for. "We had some really good waves at Cloud Nine. For the majority of the six hours we surfed it the other day it was just the four of us out there", claims Mitch. "It was paradise!" "I got cut up", he laughed. "Not heaps bad, just enough to hurt when you jam the lime in the cuts." "Looks like there is another swell coming and we're all amped. Everyone is surfing real good and got some good footage so far." "There's No I" will premiere in early November.
