As you know, Damian King recently signed with 4PLAY. He spent countless hours with the 4PLAY crew developing three new models - PP, DOW and DOW JR - with features such as iMESH, Concaves, FTC Stringers and more. Kingy and the 4PLAY team spent months cooking up these new templates which were fully tested during the 06/07 Hawaii season. These boards are hot! Just ask Kingy, he’ll tell you!

As we're sure you have noticed, we've been kinda lazy and haven't posted any news in a while. It's been busy times at UNITE. HQ and the website has been given the cold shoulder... until now.

We have a bunch of Team News and Photos and will be adding a whole lot of new images to our Photo Gallery over the next week or so. What can we say, we live to give!

Novy, along with the Waldron Bros. and the rest of the "There's No I" crew, returned from their quick trip to WA and brought these frame grabs [above and below] back with them. He has been laying low at home on Queensland's Sunshine Coast since and will be making the jaunt South next week for the Human CSIC Trials.

Life has been much the same for Tommy Smith [below]. He has been hanging out on the Gold Coast, "surfing most days, the waves have been good, just preparing for the Trials."

Last but not least, Nick O also arrived back last week from a horror trip to West Oz. Aside from one fun day at Box, the only thing he scored was a bad case of the Flu which almost left him in hospital.

Still recovering, Nick [below] assures us he will be fit and ready to defend his Human CSIC Trials title next week!

What would you do if you could compete against every surfer in the world on all of the world famous waves such as Pipeline, Teahupoo, The Box, Shark Island, and Cloud 9? This is now possible for free on the Internet!

IntellySurf - created in France in 2007 by a group of friends fond of Bodyboarding and Surfing - offers a new type of online surf game in Macromedia Flash Technology. Each wave is created following its real floor and the top swell's conditions that forces the surfers to adapt their riding style to the length, speed and curl sections of the wave. To be more realistic, the AI system slightly randomises waves to create sets with a bit of difference. In consequence, the riders have to stay focused on reading each wave to maximise their score.

Two playing modes exist: a freeride career mode where you have to develop your own rider by training his
moves and tube riding abilities on one of the world's 35 best locations and a contest mode where you can create or join your own online competition to be the real worldwide champ.

Novy [above] quickly recovered from his visit to the dentist. He spent just six days in South Australia's Desert last week and reckons he scored perfect waves nearly everyday.

He bailed again yesterday, this time bound for Western Australia. Filming for the Waldron Bros. upcoming release, "There's No I" is high on the agenda while on the Westside for the next few weeks.

Speaking of WA, Mitch Woodland packed his bags last week and relocated all the way over there to Margaret River. "I arrived in WA a few days ago, bought a car - a Commodore VK Vactioner - best car!", he joked. "Drove Down South and have already scored some fun waves. Pretty cruisy joint, its living up to to my expectations."

"We put a modern coat of gloss on the fading surf trip this issue, letting a cast of hot-heads taste some rarified air a few hundred feet up in the cushy cabs of some canary-yellow seaplanes. As swell poured into the East Coast the crew coasted from place-to-place, touching down and paddling out wherever the feeling grabbed them.

"We also rolled back in time, to the days when crew surfed as a sponsored unit. Team trips have fallen by the wayside in bodyboarding but 4Play might just revive the trend when the rest of the scene gets a glimpse of this.

"In the rest of the headliners, check a young motley crew that lay camp in the desert of South Oz and Josh Kirkman tells us why he aint going back to the Canaries.

"The Gang shot looks at a band of brothers funding life with drug trials, some fashion tips for your humble pad and, amongst others, how a simple log-in code united the world of bodyboarding."

Movement 17 out now!
