So, what is Semi-Permanent? To put it simply Semi-Permanent is a design event. It consists of a conference and side events which include exhibitions, competitions, workshops and parties.

The event is organised by Murray Bell and Design Is Kinky, the same studio that makes Movement Magazine look so damn nice, so you know it's gonna be good!

Originally held in Sydney, Semi-Permanent has expanded the event to include dates in Perth, Brisbane, and Auckland in 2008.

"While Hawaii failed to gift wrap its usual brand of high-grade goods it did deliver a sample worth of a spread. Stewart monstering Pipe, Mason's dk flair and a few more worthy samples get a run.

"In the same corner, just a couple of islands over, Skipp and Hubb scored a few fine days at Ledges, where their respective styles shone through. Hubb spent most of the day floating above the lip while Skipp took to forcefully removing chunks of the ocean.

"We also document last year's world tour, showcasing each event and the overall winner, Ben Player.

"Amongst the usual wares is a 17-year-old charger from the west, Nugget Purcell sharing a few tales of adventure and a Tungsten photo spread."

Movement 22 on shelves now. If want a sneak peak here is the teaser.
